The foliage : the use of trunk rotoscope.

Foliage is created as a separate model.

However before getting into foliage, it is very important to finish the branch positioning.

The foliage modeling depends on the branch position, which is normal after all.

I use the rotoscope feature to help me in creating an adequat foliage to go with my branch positioning.

I activated the grid in the action"branch position" in order to fine tune the rotoscopes on the grid of the foliage model.

So I made three snapshot of my "branch positon" action, front view, left view and top view. Image#992 and Image #993

I also took note of the view setting coordinates of the trunk action (click the coordinates located in the bottom right of the AM interface to access the view setting window) Image#995

The view setting coordinates will now be used to position the rotoscope in the new foliage model.

By doing this first I'm assured of three view angles of the branch positioning wich will enable me to modelize precise foliage on the trunk.

Secondly,by positioning the foliage automaticaly on the trunk so that when I tie up the two models together in choreography, no repositioning will be required.
