Every geek loves video games, and I am no exception. Autumn is a great time for every gamer with all the new releases. So, here are 9 of the newest video game releases I am particularly excited about.

Destiny

It's XXVIII century and the human kind is in danger. Luckily you have weapons.

Those who love World of Warcraft will definitely love this one as well. There is quest after quest, you won't be bored. Plus the amazing landscapes, captivating and dynamic fire-fights and awesome soundtrack. The game is released for Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One.

Civilization: Beyond Earth

Good old Civilization now leaves the Earth and goes elsewhere.

You are playing a part in the future world's rebuilding. You are a part of an expedition sent to find a new home for the mankind and as such you'll explore and colonise new planets, research new technologies and basically build the new world from scratch. And all of this you'll do in space. Amazing, right? Oh, and it's being released for Windows as usual.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments

Released for Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One this newest part of the Sherlock Holmes series has it all - great graphics (this time much better than the previous games of the series IMO), crimes and a lot of logic needed to investigate them. A new feature - you'll be able to analyze the situation from Sherlock's point of view.

Far Cry 4

This time in Himalayas. As usual Far Cry is an amazing shooter with lots of violence. The creators promise us more black humor, battle elephants and selfies. It's being released for Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One.

Assassin's Creed Unity

Each autumn UBISOFT release a game in which real historic events and amazingly detailed reconstructions of cities are mixed with fictional storyline which centerpiece is a confrontation of assassins and templars. This year they will release two games, the first one (Unity) is going to be available for Windows, PS4, Xbox One and will tell about the French revolution. And the second one named Assassin's Creed Rouge will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will continue the storyline of the pirate tale of the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. I am obviously waiting for the first one.

Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey. Book One

The continuation of the dark detective story involving magic and conspiracy will be available for Windows, Mac, Linux and PS4. The creators promise a lot of puzzles to solve.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The new instalment of Dragon Age as the previous ones will let you choose between a warrior, a magician and a knight of the road. Your ultimate goal will be to stop the evil. There will be a 4 player option so you can play the role game with your friends. And it will be available for Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One.

Bayonetta 2

Bayonetta 2 starts where the previous game left off. So, Bayonetta the witch follows Jeanne to Hell to save her friend. Magnificent battles, lots of magic and new costumes won't let you get bored. Available exclusively for Wii U.

THE SIMS 4

And finally, the Sims 4. The 4th installment of everyone's favorite life simulator is already available for windows. The creators promise new emotions, smarter sims and weirder stories.
