Headline: Public Relations Manager at TemplateMonster.com Primary Industry: Internet
Professional Overview: Internet technology professional with more than 4 years of experience in Web Development and Internet Marketing
Specialties: Web Design and Development, Content Management Systems, Project Management, Media Solutions, Search Engine Optimization, PPC campaigns, Usability Expertise
I started out about four years ago as a freelance web designer. That's why I'm well-versed in creative web design, graphics design, and the whole site building process from domain registration to hosting of various kinds. I can manipulate most of the popular open source programs and apply them towards business and marketing solutions.
In 2001, I joined Neyrofeed Inc - a web development company based in the UK - as Project Manager. While working at Neyrofeed, I concentrated on Content Management Systems development.
In 2002, I redirected my focus to concentrate on marketing issues, primarily Internet marketing issues, as I began working at TemplateMonster.com in Brooklyn, New York.
I started at TemplateMonster.com as a lowly marketing assistant, and within six months, I found myself solely in charge of promoting TemplateTuning.com, a brand new project at the time. There weren't any special prefabricated marketing strategies, and that's why I liked the project more than all the projects that I had completed up to that time, by the way. We had to develop a campaign from scratch. The project had no competitors, as there were no similar projects on the Web. So, too, the promotional campaign was unique. I could go on talking about TemplateTuning.com forever: that project deserves a novel.
In 2003, I was assigned to a problem-solving task force that was created to help in the development of another Template Monster project – Site2you.com. Our aim was to support good SEO practices and draw some additional traffic through promotional campaigns from time to time. The largest problem for website builders - or wizards, as they are called on the Net - is that although they work on projects that are considered extremely profitable, their actual target audience is rather low, and so promotional campaigns must be narrowly focused and hard-hitting. On the whole, I found this fairly challenging, exhilarating work.
Currently, I hold the position of PR manager at TemplateMonster.com and am in charge of Web Strategic Partnership, a new program created to bridge the gaps between the various Web development industries that are relevant to website construction.
For a long time, starting an online business was considered a difficult task. It required deep knowledge not in marketing or online marketing but in various tech fields. If you were not a tech guy, you needed a huge budget allowance for design and programming.
