Next, duplicate the "Display" layer and clear its layer style. To clear the layer style, right click on the duplicated layer and select "Clear Layer Style". Now change the layer name to "Pattern". Download the pattern here and select "Open".

Now right click on the "Pattern" layer and select, "Blending Options...".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Pattern Overlay".

I've added some outer glow to the shape as well by right clicking the shape layer in the Layers Palette and selecting "Blending Options..." Choose White as the color with size of 5 and Opacity at 100%.

image 16

Now select the "Brush Tool" and use the below settings.

image 17

Then create a new layer, change its blending mode to Color Dodge and the Fill to 54%. I clicked once over the "pi" in "Empire Dezign" to get a more glossy effect. You may wish to turn the Fill down even more.

image 18

Then grab the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" and draw the below shape at a radius of 45 pixels. Name this layer "Extras" in the Layers Palette and drag so it is just above the background layer in the Layers Palette as the below image illustrates.
