Mystical Planet


1. Open a new document sized '400*400' and set your foreground/background colors to default (black and white). Now we Use the cloud filter, 'Filter' > 'Render' > 'Clouds'.

2. Use the difference cloud filter. 'Filter'> 'Render'> 'Difference Clouds'.

3. Repeats step 2 five times by pressing 'ctrl + f'. This is a shortcut to doing the above filters. So press 'ctrl + f' five times to get similar effect as:

4. Click 'Filter' > 'Render' > 'Lighting Effect' enter these values:

5. Again we use the lighting effect - click 'Filter' > 'Render' > 'Lighting Effect' enter these values:

6. Duplicate the layer then click 'filter' > blur > 'gaussian blur' and enter these settings: (Radius:79.6) now change the mode of the current layer to 'screen' then press 'ctrl and e' - this should transform both layers into one.

7. Now to add color we press 'ctrl + u' - this will bring the hue/saturation window up, play around with the colors to get your desired effect. Enjoy =D
