Retro Lighting - Ford Mustang


Begin by creating a new file (File>New) that would have 1024x768 px and 72 dpi. Apply on this layer the Paint Bucket Tool (G) for coloring it in the next presented color - #FCF5ED

Using the Custom Shape Tool (U), it's possible to select the next shape as it is demonstrated below.

The shape must be changed a little with the Free Transform selection by stretching it, as it is shown next picture.

We need also to apply for the shape the Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient's parameters:

The new processed layer should have Opacity of 29%.

Choosing the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) now, we need to represent 5 rays, filling each of them with the appropriate color, applying in this case the Paint Bucket Tool (G).

Select again the Custom Shape Tool (U) and represent an arrow, colored with #FF9403, inclining it with the Free Transforme option. Its shape may be corrected with the Convert Point Tool.

Make five copies of the last made layer and apply for each copy the Free Transform option and the Convert Point Tool, placing the copied arrows as it is presented next picture. The copies have these colors: red - #FD2B06, dark-red - #981819, green one - #ACE208, yellow - #FEEC00 and blue - light - #71CFD7

Create a new layer now and click on the bottom of the layers' palette on the button entitled Create new fill or adjustment layer and select the Hue/Saturation option.

Find in Internet now a picture of a "Mustang" auto, one that would look as this one from below:

Cut out the picture and turn it around on 180 degrees with the Free Transform option and place it the way it is shown below:

Mark out the car's layer, applying to it the next selection: Filter>Filter Gallery>Artistic>Cutout

We need to apply for this layer also Blending Options>Stroke

Insert the car's name on the picture and select for this layer Fill of 75%.

Create one more new layer (Create new layer) and choose the Paint Bucket Tool (G), colored with -#4CFBFF. Select also the here shown filter's option: Filter>Filter Gallery>Texture>Grain

The parameters for the layer we work with: Blending Mode - Color Burn

Create another new layer (Create new layer) and paint it out with the usual Paint Bucket Tool (G), colored with #D6D6D6. Apply for it the earlier selected filter: Filter>Filter Gallery>Texture>Grain with the same parameters.

Select for this layer Fill of 47% and Blending Mode-Linear Burn

The next shown filter's option (Filter>Texture>Grain) should be applied on a new layer (Create a new layer)

Fill 47% on this layer and select also Blending Mode-Overlay
