Start by opening an image of a teddy bear in a box. Create cutout to knockout the background color.
Select the cap of the box using polygon lasso tool. Press Ctrl+Shift+J to cut paste the selection in a new layer.
Hide the layer. Using clone stamp tool clone the area of the box that was covered with the cap.
Unhide the cap layer.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select distort. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.
Create selection of the teddy using polygon lasso tool. Press Ctrl+Shift+J to cut paste the selection in a new layer.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select distort. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Move this layer below all the layers in layer order in layer palette.
Unhide the cap layer. Create a few duplicates of this layer.
Start moving and rotating the duplicate cap layers sequentially
Open animation window. For the first frame keep the cap layer right above the box.
Duplicate frame. Move the cap layer a few pixels in random directions. this is to create a shake before the surprise comes out of the box.
Duplicate frame till five frames and repeat the above step by moving cap and box layers a few pixels in random directions.
Duplicate frame. Hide the cap layer. Unhide the next cap layer. Unhide the teddy layer.
Keep duplicating frames and unhiding the box cap layers moving away from the box. Simultaneously let the teddy come out of the box by moving it a few pixels upwards with every duplicate frame.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
