Holographic effect

Open the image for editing.

Add a Gradient fill layer (Layer> New Fill Layer> Gradient) with the following properties:

Gradient: Spectrum
Style: Linear
Angle: 45º
Scale: 100%
Reverse: Unchecked
Dither: Unchecked
Align with layer: Checked

Select the layer mask of the gradient fill and use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties:

Layer: Background
Channel: RGB
Invert: Unchecked
Blending: Normal
Opacity: 100%

Holographic EffectChange the blending mode of the current layer to Soft Light. Rollover the image in this step to see the original image before this Photoshop technique was applied.
