Transform Multiple Shape Layers

Normally, with rastered layers (non vector), linking multiple layers and applying a 'Ctrl + T' (Mac: Command + T) Transformation works like a charm.

However, this simple method does not always apply when the linked layers are solely vector shaped.

Here is a simple work around.

Below I have two separate Shape Layers created with the Rectangle Shape Tool from the Toolbar with Options Bar 'Shape Layers' feature active..

Next, activate/select (highlighted in blue - Shape 2) a single Layer and then Link it (encircled in red) with the remaining Layers. (as captured below)

Then 'Ctrl + T' (Mac: Command + T) to attempt a Transformation to the active and linked layers.
As captured below, the transformation only applies to the active layer, even though there is a linked layer dependent on it.
Note: The Transformation handlers only appears for the active layer.

The work around, is to Select the 'Move Tool (V)'.
Then go up to the Options Bar and tick the 'Show Bounding Box' option. (encircled in red)
Now notice the Transformation handlers around the active AND linked layers, captured below.

Now 'Ctrl + click/drag' on any of the corner transformation handlers to transform the combined layers, as I have captured below.

Note: Select the 'Move Tool (V) and untick the 'Show Bounding Box' Options Bar feature if you don't want this to appear again.
