Open a new document with the following size: 960x900 pixels.
Select Rectangle Tool, and create two shapes like in the following image.
Load the following set of Patterns in Photoshop: 200 pixel patterns
Create a new layer (press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+N), and then with Rectangular Marquee Tool, make a selection like in the following image.
Select Paint Bucket Tool, and now it is your choice to select a nice pattern from the set from above. I will choose a random one.
Here is my result
I will press on CTRL+D to deselect, then with Eraser Tool (and with a smooth round brush selected) I will delete the bottom part of the layer
I will change my foreground color to #f5f5f5, and with Rounded Rectangle Tool, I will create three shapes. On the first one I have used #f5f5f5, and on the last one #ffffff. Please click on the image to see the full size layout
For all layers I will add the same layer styles
This is my result
On the top left side I will create two shape. The first one was made with Rounded Rectangle Tool and the second one with Ellipse Tool.
I will select both layers in my layer palette. Hold down the CTRL key and with your left mouse button click on each layer. In this way you can select as many layers you want.
If you have both layers selected, you can now press on CTRL+E to merge these layers into a single one. The reason I am merging these layers together is because I want to apply the same layer styles as above.

On the right side I will add some buttons
Under the buttons I will add another shape with Rounded Rectangle Tool, and an image with a nice leaf. Please note the border of the rectangle. I have used the same layer styles as above.
I will show you a trick to create a nice effect. Create two shapes like in the following image. The first one was made with Ellipse Tool, and the second one with Rounded Rectangle Tool
Select Pen Tool, and then hold down the CTRL key from your keyboard. Press one time inside the grey shape and the second time on the border of the grey shape. You will see something like in the following image.
Select the Convert Point Tool, and move the anchor point to the top like in the following image
Select Move Tool, and select the black ellipse shape. Drag the layer in your layer palette under the big white shape. You can change the color of the grey shape to #cbc8c8
I will use the same technique to create also on the other side. This is my result
I will add some simple icons for this slide show, and some text
I will add some text with Horizontal Type Tool. In the same time I will add also some icons. Click in the image to see better how I placed the text and images.
Between the icons I will create three lines, a black one, a white one, and another black one
I will select all three lines in my layer palette, then I will merge (CTRL+E) them into a single layer. With Eraser Tool I will delete the top part and the bottom part of the lines. The secret to achieve my effect is to use a smooth round brush.
I will change the fill value to 20%. I will place the same lines between my other images. This is my final result
