Glass Button


1. Begin with a new file, 150x100, with a white background. Then create a new layer.

2. Now take the Rounded Rectangle Tool and make a shape like this.

3. Now set your foreground color to #FFF602 and your background color to #D1C030. Then take the Gradient Tool and draw the gradient from the bottom to the top.

4. Now go to the layers palette and right click on layer 1, choose Blending Options and then apply this settings.

Now should it look something like this.

5. Now press Ctrl and click on layer 1 to get a selection, then create a new layer and fill that layer with white.

6. Now take the Elliptical Marquee Tool and draw out a circle as the image below shows and then press Delete.

7. And the last thing to do is to change the Opacity to around 30%.

Then add some text to it and you are done! This is what I came up with.
