Inset Lines


1. Begin with a new file, 400x30, with #697198 as your background color. Then create a new layer in the layers palette. Now take the Pencil Tool and draw out a line, hold down Shift while drawing to get a straight line.

2. Then duplicate layer 1, to do that just right click on the layer and choose Duplicate Layer. Then select the Move Tool, now use the down arrow key to move that line below the previous line. Then head over to the layers palette and hold down Ctrl and click on the layer to get a selection. Now fill the layer with #FFFFFF.

Then change the Opacity on this layer to 50%. That's it you are done! This is what I came up with.
