Micro Buttons


1. Begin with a new file, size and color doesn't matter. Now create a new layer in the layers palette. Then take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a small rectangle.

2. Now set your foreground color to #EEEEEE and your background to #CCCCCC. Then take the Gradient Tool, draw the gradient from top to bottom.

3. Press Ctrl+D to deselect your shape, then right click on layer 1 in the layers palette, choose Blending Options and then apply this settings.

Now should it look something like this.

4. Then take the Text Tool and type in something.

5. Now set your foreground color to #FF0000. Then press U and choose the tool and shape the image below shows.

6. Now when you have your Custom Shape Tool selected make a shape similar to the one below.

Then duplicate layer 2, to do that just right click on layer 2 and choose Duplicate Layer, then use the Move Tool to move it in to position. And that's it you are done! This is what I came up with.
