Tidy Content Box

This is the finished product of this tutorial, a beautiful area to use on your layouts.

This is the main template:

I am going to show step by step how to do it. On the Channels tab, create a selection and fill.

image 3

Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur and apply an around 4,7 gaussian.

Now go to image > adjust > levels and push the narrows to the middle, like the pic. You have a good shape to work in now.

Ctrl+click the channel (to get the selection). Go to the layers tab and create a new layer. Fill it with a gray color, I used #CECECE.

Now the funny part. Right click the layer and click on blending options.

You are going to use only Drop Shadow, Color Overlay and Stroke styles. Apply them just like is in the pictures.

You are done now with it! You can put content on this area that will look pretty good on your websites.
