Enhance the color of the sky and other light areas to increase contrast and saturation.

1. Open the image for editing. |

2. Duplicate the current layer (Ctrl+J) and change the blending mode of the new layer to Difference. |

3. On the new layer, apply a Shadow/Highlight filter (Filter> Adjustments> Shadow/Highlight) with the following properties:
Shadows: 0%

4. Duplicate the Background layer (Ctrl+J) and add a layer mask (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Reveal All) on the new layer. |

5. With the layer mask selected, use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties:
Layer: Merged

6. Delete the top layer. |
 |
7. On the top layer, use the Brightness/Contrast tool (Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast) to apply the following properties:
Brightness: -25

8. With the layer mask selected, apply an Auto Levels (Ctrl+Shift+L) then change the blending mode to Multiply. |

9. Rollover the image in this step to see the original image before this technique was applied. |
