Blue Reflected Wrap

Editor's note: this tutorial will work only in Adobe Photoshop 6.

Start by making a new document.

Create a 3D effect : Filter > Render > 3D transform choose the cube tool.

Set the field of view to 35°, and try to spread your shape to the whole work surface in that window, use image 1 and image 2 to move and rotate the shape till you find your sought view.

Apply on it extrude effect: Filter > Stylize > Extrude ( settings: Type: Pyramids, Size: 10px, Depth: 200 / level based, check mask incomplete blocks.

At this point you should have something like this:

Apply a color overlay as a layer style i used this color: #092B70 at 40% of opacity.

Apply autolevels (SHFT+CTRL+L) : Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels

This is the result:

Apply radial blur: Filter > Blur > Radial Blur (settings for this : Amount: 100, Blur Method: Zoom, Quality: Best)

Apply a gradient overlay (Blend mode: Normal, Opacity: 60%, Style: radial (align with layer checked), Angle: 90°, Scale: 150%, the colors for the gradient are: #283651 then #E7E9F4 then #041F43 then E9EBF4 then #0F1D38.

Apply some lighting effects of your choice, this is my final result
