Ok. Well opening a new document would be a good start. I'm making mine 400x150. Now head over to my humble deviantart page (http://ae0n.deviantart.com) and download my Fractured brush set.
Find the render you plan to use for this, and place it wherever you want it on your signature. Now duplicate the layer and go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur 3.0 and set the layer to Overlay and 60%. Now merge the two render layers, and duplicate again but this time go Filter > Blur > GAussian Blur 8.0 and put this layer below the other and merge them
Now for some brushing. Using the brush set your downloaded brush a little black onto the white.
And then a little white brushing behind the render...
Now duplicate the background and go Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur 3.0 and set that layer to lighten. Duplicate the blurred layer and change it from Lighten to Normal and set it to 20%.
Now crate a new layer, and set it to Overlay. And with a 100px edge brush at 30% opacity and 100% Flow make the parts around the render a tag lighter by brushing a little white and the edges of the signature a tad darker by brushing a little black.
Meh. the signature so far looks kind of dull at the moment tbh. How about some coloring to liven it up a bit?? Take your render layer and go Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur 8.0, now press Ctrl+T for free transform and stretch the render out to fit part of the sig. Now set that layer to Overlay, and duplicate the layer to give it more depth.
Now repeat that with the other parts of the signature.
Add text, border, what ever floats your boat. And you're done.
