Enhance the color of the sky and other light areas to increase contrast and saturation.
image 1 1. Open the image for editing.
image 2 2. Duplicate the current layer (Ctrl+J) and change the blending mode of the new layer to Difference.
image 3 3. On the new layer, apply a Shadow/Highlight filter (Filter> Adjustments> Shadow/Highlight) with the following properties:

Shadows: 0%
Highlights: 100%

image 4 4. Duplicate the Background layer (Ctrl+J) and add a layer mask (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Reveal All) on the new layer.
image 5 5. With the layer mask selected, use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties:

Layer: Merged
Channel: RGB
Invert: Unchecked
Blending: Multiply
Opacity: 100%

image 6 6. Delete the top layer.
image 7 7. On the top layer, use the Brightness/Contrast tool (Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast) to apply the following properties:

Brightness: -25
Contrast: +50

image 8 8. With the layer mask selected, apply an Auto Levels (Ctrl+Shift+L) then change the blending mode to Multiply.
