Next, choose the "Custom Shape Tool", find the "progressbar" shape and draw the shape as I have done below using Black as the color. Name this layer "Progress Bar" in the Layers palette.
Now right click on the "Progress Bar" layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Drop Shadow".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Inner Glow".
You may now click OK.
You should now have the below image.
Next, select the "Line Tool" again and draw the below line (2 pixels) with Black as the color.
Now we will create a couple additonal anchor points to the line. Select the "Add Anchor Point Tool"
and place a new anchor on the top and bottom, centered as illustrated below.
Then we will need to move the newly made anchor points. To do this, select the "Direct Selection Tool"
and select the anchor points that you just created, holding in the "Shift" key on the keyboard will add to the first selection. Now, using the arrow keys on your keyboard, move the anchor points up as illustrated below.
Next, choose the "Custom Shape Tool", again and find the "previous" and "next" shapes and draw the shapes as I have done below using Black as the color. Name these layers "Previous" and "Next" in the Layers palette.
Now right click on the "Previous" and "Next" layers and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Drop Shadow".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
You may now click OK.
Now creating some left and right arrows to get the below image.
Another larger arrow was added to the progress bar using White.
Next, choose the "Custom Shape Tool", find the "topover" shape and draw the shape as I have done below using Black as the color. Name this layer "Top Over" in the Layers palette.
Then duplicate this layer and name it "Top Over 2".
Now right click on the "Top Over 2" layer and select, "Blending Options...".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Stroke".
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following:
Duplicate the "Top Over" layer a second time and move it in the Layers Palette so it is above the "Top Over 2" layer. Then change the name of the newly made layer to "Highlight 2". Turn the Fill of this layer down to 0%. I left mine White for demonstration purposes.
Now right click on the "Highlight 2" layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Stroke".
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following:
The Results!!!
I've added the initials of Empire Dezign to the head of the interface and some oval lines to the display but other than that this is all but done. Be creative with yours and have fun.
