Beam of Light or Green Laser Gun

1. Take a new file of 400 pixels 400 pixels of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

2. Fill the new document with color black.

3. Now create the new layer.

4. And now select the Brush Tool from the tool palette use these settings.

5. And then click twice (2) in the same place for this effect.

6. Go to Edit>Transform>Distort, and make it look something like this.

7. And now select the Rectangular Marquee tool .

8. Create a new layer.

9. Create a new shape see in the next image.

10. Then select the Gradient Tool use these settings.

11. And drag the gradient tool from the right of corner as shown image below.

12. Now press Ctrl+T to transform selection and rotate the image see in the next Fig.

13. And now select the Rectangular Marquee tool make the small selection, then press Ctrl+Shift I.

14. And now hit Delete key on your keyboard your image should be look like this.

15. Then select the Brush Tool from the tool palette use these settings.

16. Dab where the line starts 2 or 3 times.

17. And now select the Shape tool from the tool palette and choose this shape.

18. Then draw a shape make the selection and fill with white color then press Ctrl+D, Deselect.

19. Now make the copy of shape layer and go to Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal.

20. Then Ctrl+E to merge down the layer of shape and then press Ctrl+T transform to rotate the shape see in the next image.

21. And now select the Gradient Tool hold Ctrl+Click the layer as shown image below.

22. And fill the Gradient to the selection your image looks something like this.

23. And now select the Brush Tool again and use these settings.

24. It should look something like this when you are done.

25. Then go to Layer>Layer Style select the Outer Glow use these settings.

26. Your image looks something like this.

27. And now Ctrl+E to merge down the layer see in the next image.

28. Then create a new layer.

29. And select the Gradient tool .

30. Set the gradient color see in the next image.

31. And now fill the gradient and change the Blending Mode Color.

32. Your final image should be look like this.
