Designing a Letterhead with Dark Theme

Start by creating a new document with the settings shown.
Fill the background with black color.
Select pen tool and create a distorted rectangle.
Similarly create another distorted rectangle shape. Place it on the bottom. Fill it with black color.
Create a diagonal line. Place as shown.
Reduce the opacity to 10%.
Duplicate the layer several times and place as shown.
Insert company name & logo at the bottom.
Type other information as shown.
Insert logo file again. Scale it up to a big size.
Change the layer mode to "Difference" and opacity to 11%.

peaches February 05, 2008 says:Although the end result looks stunning, trying to understand and see how it was created was very difficult. The visuals were hard to see and the explanation also basic. It was not clear how the curves were made and where to place the pages; very disappointed in this tutorial. Instead of having a large image only appear when clicked on, having it appear on mouseover would be much better; as would having additional text appear on hover over other areas in the tutorial. I appreciate it is difficult to write good tutorials. When you know how to do something, getting that into textual representation that can be easily understood is not something everyone can do. So, whilst I thank you for trying, please can you try a bit harder.
