Drawing Pearl

1. Open a new document sized: 200x200, change the foreground color to white, background color to black and select a new layer. Now click 'Filter' > 'Render' > 'Clouds'.

2. Click 'Filter' > 'Distort' > 'Twirl' and enter these values: (Angle:180)

3. 'Filter' > 'Distort' > ' Lighting Effects' enter the values as seen in the example:

4. Now you should have a little ball on a dark background, to remove the background rom we use the 'Elliptical Marquee Tool' - hold down 'shift' and drag out a circle around the ball.. then hold down 'ctrl' whilst hovering the cursor over the ball shape.. the cursors icon should change to a scissors icon, meaning you are free to move it to a new blank document.

5. Now you should have something like this:

6. To colorize the pearl we press 'Ctrl' and 'u' - this will bring the hue/saturation window up, were you're able to play around with it to get a cool pearl color.
