Getting back to our friends Hoops & Yoyo - this time I'll show you how to draw a green bunny Yoyo and add some decorations. You can read this tutorial without any need to read the previous one.

So, let's start.

Create a new document 250 x 250 px (or open the document created in the previous tutorial, but hide all layers). Make the Foreground color #66cc00. Just like we did last time we'll start with a head. Draw a head contour using the Pen tool.

Head path

Click the path with the right mouse button, select Fill path and choose the Foreground color.

Head green

Now draw a body with the Pen tool. Create a new layer and paint it with the same color.

Body green

In this same way draw hands in a new layer.

Hands green

As in the previous tutorial, press shift and draw 2 eyeballs with the help of the Ellipse tool (or draw only one eyeball, then duplicate it and move to a new position)

Ellipse settings

White eyes

Now we'll draw the pupils. I'll place them in the upper right corner so our bunny could look at its big pink friend. Next, don't change the tool, select black color and draw 2 smaller ellipses in the upper right corners of eyeballs.

Black eyes

Now using the same ellipse draw a nose in the lower middle part of its face; you don't need to press shift anymore.

Nose

Well, let's make it smile. Use the Pen tool for this purpose. I will add a surprised look; its mouth should be slightly open. So, draw a similar path:

Mouth

Almost done. Now its time for adding a shadow. Create a new layer and move it downwards.

Select an area under its feet using the Elliptical Marquee tool and paint it black. You can reduce Opacity to 70-90%.

Yoyo Tutorial: Final Result

Let's add its friend to the picture:

Now we can add some text. Select the Text tool and type any text you want under their feet. I decided to add " Hooks & Yoyo ".

Adjust the following parameters in the Text tool settings window (Window>Character):

text settings

Apply cat's color to "Hooks" (#f55cac), and bunny's - to "Yoyo" (#66cc00). Also you can use the neutral color #9999ff, which I used for "&" symbol.

This is what I got:

If you wish you can add some other elements to the picture.
