6. On the new layer with a Freeform Pen Tool draw several lines. Then right click the path and choose Stroke Path ....

7. ...Brush. OK.

8. Your image should now look like mine. Delete Path.

9. Double click on this layer (with our path) to open Layer Style window. Apply Outer Glow (i used #9999CC)

10. Copy this layer. And set my Layer Styles for this new (top) layer.

Drop Shadow (use my settings, please, and #C29E22 color).
