Hi. Nearly every day, I get someone ask me "How do you make a cool logo, I've just got photoshop and I'm not very good with
it, can you help?" This tutorial is at beginners to even the most advanced of
photoshop users. *Please note: in the first 5 images, the background is grey
not white as I instructed you to do. This is due to a error when making the tutorial,
please irgnore.*
First things first; Open your image, use 300 x 300.
Phase One
S1: Press D to reset your colours, and fill your canvas white. Layer>New Layer and select your rectangular marquee tool, and make a square box like I have. Fill it with the colour: E8E7E7
S2: Without deselecting, go Select>Inverse and then Select>Modify>Smooth Use 6 pixels, then press backspace. You'll be left with this:
S3: Press and hold "CTRL+D", and go Layer>New Layer. With your rectangular marquee tool again, make the box I have, fill it black.
S4: Okay, Press and hold "CTRL+D" once again and go, Filter>Disort>Shear and use these settings:

Phase Two:
S1: Move the image we just "Sheared" into place, and with out Magic Wand tool, simply select it:

S1: Now Press backspace, and press the layer with the grey square on it, once again press delete or backspace, you'll be left with this, once you press and hold "CTRL+D":

S2: The logo is really starting to take shape, now apply this outer glow:

S3: Now this inner glow. The colour used was white, FFFFFF:

S4: Hold "CTRL" and press the layer we're working on. It'll select our image. Now we need to go, Select>Modify>Contract and by 4 pixels. With that selected go Layer>New Layer, and fill in the boxes white.

S5: With the Ellipical marquee tool, make a circle like mine and press delete or backspace.

S6: Now, we just change the Opacity to 53, or 54%, and your done.
