Now right click on the "Extras" layer in the Layers Palette and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Glow".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Color Overlay".

Now click on "Gradient Overlay".

You may now click OK.

You should now have the following:

Select the "Custom Shape Tool" and draw a Black arrow. You may have to flip the arrow horizontally. To do this, go to "Edit" then "Transform" and lastly "Flip Horizontally".

Now right click on the arrow layer in the Layers Palette and select, "Blending Options...".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Drop Shadow".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Inner Shadow".

You may now click OK.

Next grab the "Pen Tool" and draw the below shape in Black. It doesn't need to be perfect.

The Results!!!

To finish it off, I turned the Fill down to 9%. As said before, it's just a simple interface but the techniques learned from it should get you well on your way to creating great players. Have fun!
