Honey Orb

First u make a new 640x480 image with white background. make a new layer find the middle. choose elliptical marqueen tool. Draw a round circle in the middle of the layer. choose gradient then go up to the gradient menu and click on linear gradient and in the dropdown menu to the left of it choose: Orange, Yellow, Orange.

Go from the top of the circle and draw down to the bottom of it. Now u should have a orange circle thats yellow in the middle.

Ok now ctrl + click on the orb and make a new layer still with a selection loadet. go to the select menu> modify> contract with 5 (depends on the size of the orb my orb =170x170px) then select>Feather with 5 px. click on D-key too reset color and then x-key to make white as foreground. select the gradient tool and in the dropdown menu select> Foreground to Transparent. Draw from the top of the selection to the middle. now u have a white shine on top right?.

Make a new layer and draw from the bottom to the middle, go to the layers palette and change the opacity to 60%. now u have added a white shine to the bottom (i hope) :)

Make a new layer, ctrl+ click the honny orb in the layers palette and fill/draw from top of the selectionto the bottom with gradient> linear>foreground to transparent. Select the new white circle layer and ctrl+ t to choose transformation make the circle 80% W and 40% H. move the circle up till it fits on the top like in the pic on top of this site. now it up to u too add some kind of effect like i did.
