How to Draw Bus Using Photoshop Software

In this tutorial we will use Pen, Brush, Direction Selection tools and other effects.

1. Open a new document in Photoshop of any size (I have used 400 x/ 264 px) and select a nice color (#0192d5). Fill using the Paint Bucket tool.

2.Create a shape using Pen tool as shown then Right-click> Make Selection then apply the settings as shown below:

3. Now create a new layer and using Paint Bucket fill the selection with #d2fe06 color. Press Ctrl + D to deselect.

4. To get the body shape of a bus I have used Pen tool and created a shape as shown below. Then Right-click > Make Selection and apply the default settings. Fill with #0192d5 color on a new layer using paint bucket tool and press Ctrl + D to deselect.

5. Right-click on the new layer and select Blending Options (or double click on the layer). Select the options as shown below:

6. Use the same instrument (Pen Tool) to represent the windscreen of the bus. Right-click > Make Selection apply the default settings.

7. Now fill the selection with #aae1fb color on a new layer and press Ctrl + D to deselect.

8. Continue with the Pen tool and create another figure - Right-click > Make Selection with the parameters shown below:

9. Now fill the selection using Gradient tool option as shown and repeat the step for the right end of the glass.

10. To add inner shadow double-click the original glass layer and apply the settings as shown below:

11. With Elliptical Marquee tool create a circle and fill with #fe9500 on a new layer. Press Ctrl + D then double-click the layer, apply the blending options as shown below.

12. Add two white circles and place them as shown. Duplicate the layer and place on the other side.

13. Create a shape as show using Polygonal Lasso tool to create the wiper of the bus. Fill with #71797c on a new layer. Duplicate the layer and place it as shown below:

14. To add a rear-view mirror, draw a shape as shown using Pen tool. Right-click > Make selection > apply the options as shown below.

15. Now double-click the layer and apply the blending options as shown. Apply a white shadow to your mirror shape. Duplicate the layer and place on the opposite side.

16. Draw a line on a new layer as shown using Pen tool - Right-click > Stroke Path > apply the options as shown below:

17. Create a shape (as shown) using Pen tool - Right click > Make Selection > apply the settings as shown and fill with a nice color (#d2fe06).

18. Create a layer just below the bus shape layer, select the Elliptical Marquee tool and draw a circle to create the tyre of the bus. Fill with a dark color #989999. Now press Space-bar + Shift + (Right Arrow twice and Bottom Arrow once) and fill the selection #686a6a on a new layer. Then drag the layer just below the circle layer you made earlier.

19. Create a new layer above all, repeat the above step to create a circle and fill with white color. Double-click the layer and apply the blending options as shown below:

20. Duplicate the layer and place it as shown below:

21. Create a shape as shown just below the head light of the bus, Right-click > Make Selection > apply the default settings. Fill with white color on a new layer above all layers and set the Opacity = 20%. Draw a line just below the new layer to highlight.

22. Now Ctrl + Click the bus layer then press Alt + Elliptical Marquee tool to deselect the unwanted area. Go to Selection > Modify > Contract = 2px. Create a new layer fill with #d2fe06 color and set the Opacity =75%.

23. On a new layer create a line as shown using Brush tool. Remember this step because it will be helpful in the following steps.

24. Repeat the step to create lines and place them as shown below:

25. Now using Pen tool create a shape as shown below then Right-click> Make Selection, apply the default settings. Fill with Gradient color.

26. Repeat the above step for the other area as shown below:

27. Using Brush tool draw lines as shown below on a new layer:

28. Now we're very close to the finish line - double-click the layer and apply the blending options as shown below.

29. Select the bus layer, double-click and apply the Stroke blending option.

30. Your finished image should look something like this:
