Making an Attractive User Hobby Icon with Ease

Result:

1. First, open up photoshop and File > New (Ctrl+N) and use these settings:

2. Now make a new layer:

3. And get the logo of the program you use or the logo of the game, for example i got an image of the Photoshop CS logo off Google Images and inserted it in here.

4. Make a new layer, and now we are going to make the Glossy Glow, which can be done easily using the Glassy Glow Effect Tutorial. After you have done this you should have something like this:

5. Now make a new layer UNDER the Glossy Glow Layer and type in the text you want, since I'm making a Photoshop Hobby Icon, i will write in 'Photoshop CS User'.

6. Now make a new layer on top of all layers, get your Rectangular Marquee Tool and select all by pressing ctrl+A and right click on the selection you made and then click on 'Stroke...' and a window will come up, use the following settings:
