New Born Baby Egg Crack

Start by opening an image of an egg.

Create egg selection using lasso tool. Press Ctrl+Alt+D to feather the selection.

Press Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy the selection in a new layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select rotate 90°cw. Fill the background with a solid color.

Create an elliptical selection using elliptical marquee tool.

Press Ctrl+Alt+D to feather the selection.

Create a new layer. Fill the selection with dark gray color.

Create random crack shape selection using lasso tool.

Press Ctrl+Alt+J to cut the selection in a new layer.

Move, rotate and scale the top portion of the egg as shown in the image below.

Duplicate the main egg layer and move up the layer that is below in layer order.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.

Similarly create the back portion of the broken upper half of the egg.

Create a cutout of a baby. Insert the cutout in egg file and move it below the front egg layer.

Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool and move it to towards the bottom of the file.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.

Duplicate the layer. From style window apply a preset stroke style " 60% Gray 2pt No Fill".

Type your wishes using a nice font.
