1. First create a new image that's 250x185 pixels, RBG color mode, transparent BG.
2. Fill it with the color - #C3C5D6 - Name this layer "BG".
3. Hit "D" and then "X" on your keyboard, this will change your foreground color to white, and your background color to black.
4. Right click on your BG layer - Blending options - apply a gradient overlay with the following settings
5. Make a new layer - name it "line". Draw a one pixel white line across the middle horizontally, and lower the of the layer to opacity 15%
Apply the following settings:
6. Make a new layer and name it "Orb". Select the circle marquee tool and make a circle in the middle of your image, about the size of a half dollar. Fill it with color #C3C5D6
Apply the following settings:
7. Make a new layer and name it "circle1". Use the circle marquee tool and make a circle with this size and placement
8. Fill with color #8B90A3 and lower the opacity to 10%.
9. Make a new layer and name it "circle2". Once again use the circle marquee tool and make a circle with this size and placement.
10. Fill it with color #F6F0F6 and lower the opacity to 15%. Go to blending options and apply a color overlay with color #E1C7DF and a 30% opacity.
11. Duplicate your circle2 layer, and move the duplicate layer just a bit above the original. Lower the opacity to 5%.
12. Duplicate the layer once more, and place it here:
Apply the following settings:
13. Lower the opacity of the latest layer to 10%.
That's all there is to it. You can of course use a different color scheme, instead of the one i chose. You can also add a pattern overlay like i did, which gives it a little something extra. Here's the final result:
