Professional Software Box

This is a tutorial showing how to create a very professional software box, very modern as well.

Make a file of 325x316 parameters and 72 dpi. Paint the background using . The color code is indicated in the picture.

Make a rectangle using the next instrument , like in the picture.

Make an ellipse with the following instrument . The gradient's parameters are indicated in the picture.

Create a new background and draw a patch of yellow color using the instrument . The rays are possible to do using the instrument .

Take the instrument and pull out the figure. The color code is on the picture.

The same instrument will help to draw two stripes.

Take the instrument to draw the outlines and paint it in black, choosing the instrument . Make the shadow also.

Draw the box now with .

Now make a box copy and move it a little lower . Press on the mask adding and using the instrument , erase it a little. Close to the picture.

Make a new background and draw ( ) a highlight of white color. Press simultaneously on Alt button and mouse click on the background and transform it into a mask.

Draw a stripe with the instrument with gradient's parameters from the picture.

Make it a mask also.

Do the same with this figure and make it a mask.

Above the black figure, create a new one now. The gradient is shown in the picture. Make it a mask too.

Create a figure inside the box now, using the instrument

Blending options list is indicated in the picture.

Draw the rays on the box now with . Draw a single ray at the first. Then make more rays like the son's ones. Accentuate all the rays in the window and pressing on Ctrl+E, combine them. Blending Options will help to set out everything like in the picture.

The result should be this one.

Draw a highlight on the blue-gray X, using the instrument and the gradient form the picture. Use now 1 px and holding the Shift button, pull out the white vertical line.

Make a figure like this one, using the instrument . The color code is 2e5c7e.

Choose the instrument on a new background and the right mouse button on the accentuate part. Choose Stroke, set out 1px and the white color.

Now make the inscriptions on the box. Copy any text and using place the text in our work. Using the instrument , click once on the left mouse's button on the text and the question "Rasterize the type?" should be answered with OK. Transform the text with Free Transform. Distort option will give the text a perspective. Font Tahoma.

By coping and transforming the text you'll get the reflection. Erase it a little to create the effect of half- transparency.

Use the instrument on a new background and paint a little the right corner. The color code DFB400. Do the same way a white highlight on the X.

The last feature is adding one more shadow. Do exactly the same way as in the beginning of our work.
