We'll begin this tutorial, by creating a new canvas at a size of 281 x 168 then download the Quicktime Shape Pack which will have the two custom shapes necessary for this tutorial. Then choose the "Custom Shape Tool" and find the "Quicktime Logo" shape. Then draw the shape as I have done below. Name this layer "Quicktime" in the Layers palette.

Now right click on the "Quicktime" layer in the Layers Palette and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Shadow".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Bevel and Emboss".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Color Overlay".

You may now click OK.

You should now have the below image.

Then choose the "Custom Shape Tool" again and find the "Quicktime Logo hand" shape. Then draw the shape as I have done below. Name this layer "Quicktime hand" in the Layers palette.

Now right click on the "Quicktime hand" layer in the Layers Palette and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Shadow".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Bevel and Emboss".

Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.

Now click on "Color Overlay".

You may now click OK.

You should now have the below.

Next, create both the circle (using the "Elipse Tool") and the rectangle (using the "Rectangle Tool") as illustrated below. Once you have created the rectangle, you will need to go to the main menu and select "Edit" then "Free Transform" to get the correct angle.

Now, using the "Elpise Tool" draw out a flat circle beneath the "Quicktime" layer in the Layers Palette using Black as the color.

Next, go to the main menu and select "Filter" then "Blur" and lastly "Gaussian Blur" and with a radius of 1.5 click OK. Turn the Fill down to 40% and your done. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
