image 1 16. Add a "Drop Shadow" layer style (Layer> Layer Style> Drop Shadow) to the current layer with the following properties:

Blend Mode: Normal
Color: #00CBFF
Opacity: 75%
Angle: -45º
Use Global Light: Checkmarked
Distance: 5
Spread: 7
Size: 43

Layer Knocks Out Drop Shadow: Checkmarked

Click OK.

image 2 17. On the current layer, set the "Saturation" to "+100" using the "Hue/Saturation" tool (Ctrl+U). Click OK.

image 3 18. Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and apply a "Clouds" filter (Filter> Render> Couds) to the new layer.

image 4 19. Load the selection of the layer Layer 1 (second from the bottom) and with the top layer selected, create a new mask from that selection (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Reveal Selection). Change the current layer's blending mode to "Screen".

image 5 20. Use the "Brightness/Contrast" tool to increase the contrast and lower the brightness so that the clouds are more visible and sharper.

image 6 21. Duplicate the current layer (Ctrl+J) and unlink it from its mask by clicking on the link icon between the two thumbnails.

image 7 22. Apply a "Clouds" filter (Filter> Render> Clouds) to the new layer.

image 8 23. Using the "Brightness/Contrast" tool, apply the following properties:

Brightness: -25
Contrast: 75

Click OK.

image 9 24. Use the "Twirl" filter (Filter> Distort> Twirl) and select an angle to distort the clouds. For this step, I've chosen 150º to make my clouds look like the image in this step. Apply the same filter to the other layer containing the clouds.

image 10 25. Change the current layer's blending mode to "Overlay" and move the third layer (layer with the blue clouds) to the top so that it is above every layer.
