In this tutorial, you will learn to create a security icon. Final output of the tutorial can be seen below :

Security Icon Tutorial: Final Result

Start by creating this shape with rectangle tool. Use #354F6A as foreground color while drawing the shape :

Press control+t to transform the layer. Drag the nodes until you get the shape like shown :

Draw this shape. Use #27394F color as foreground :

Draw the third shape with rectangle tool. Use #364E68 to fill the shape. Transform it shown :

Draw this shape with Pen tool. Use #5A7590 color as foreground :

Type "U" with Tahoma font. Set the size of the font according to the overall size of the icon. Rotate it to 90 degree.

Apply these layer styles in it :

Draw two more circles with ellipse tool. Use light gray color for these two circles. Place them as shown :

Now, draw the path as shown with pen tool :

Press control+enter and create a new layer by pressing shift+control+n. Fill the layer with #BDBDBD color.

Finally, duplicate the layer for two more times and place them as shown. Our security icon is completed.
