This is one way to make similiar spikes that you saw on the header of stealthdesignz version one.
1. Make a new image, we used 160 x 160 with a white background
2. Click layer > new > layer - and make a new layer
3. Fill this in black
4. Grab the circular marquee tool, and whilst holding shift, drag out a circle approximatley 4 times bigger than the canvas. Place this as you see in image 1 and hit delete
5. Holding shift, press the Right arrows on your keyboard (or drag it) so that you are able to delete the opposite end.
6. Hold CTRL and press D to deselect.
7. Click Layer > layer style > blending options - and add a minor outerglow, and a gradient overlay with the following settings:
8. Once you have clicked OK, make a new image, transparent background but just 7 pixels high, and 7 pixels wide.
9. Zoom right into 1600% and grab the pencil tool on 1px setting. do a little dot as shown below.
10. Click Select > all - and then edit > define pattern, then name it dots.
11. Back on your other image, click layer > new > layer - and name it dots.
12. Hold CTRL and click the thumbnail of the layer with the actaul spike onit. This will add marhcing ants
