Stock Manipulation

To start the ball rolling, you choose the size would like, 380x115, this was the size I chose to use and also chose which colour you want the background to be, I chose black.

Next on the background layer go to Filter>>Render>>Lens Flare and position the flare in the center, like so: (the size depends of your liking, wanted the light to reach the edge)

I also added a layer with a few black splat brushes and lowred the opacity a bit

Now go back to the stock image you preperaed in part one. ctrl+A to select it, once select go to Edit>>Copy Merged, this is to ensure you have copied both layers. Now go back to your tag and paste the stock onto it. You will have to reseze the image to fit what you want to have in the tag 9ctrl+T, to resize the image).

Next you will have to delete the baclground from the stock, which is simple, just use erase tool and freehand around the edges. Doesn't have to be to close as you can see I have left even parts of the background in, which adds to the background.

Note: be sure to erase the background when the stock is resized to your liking and positioned properly. Will help in later steps.

Now that we have the render in place. It's time to start adding effects.

First of allduplicate the render layer and set it to hard light, this just brings out the colours a bit more.

Now a few filter tricks with the render.

Select the normal (original) render layer again, duplicate it and go to Filter>>Scetch>>Note Paper. This will bring up this box and put to these settings:

Note: Notice the way that only the background you deleted from the stcok isn't there and the rest is. this adds the border like effect when positioned.

Once positioned the tag will look like this:

Again with the original render selected, duplicate it and go to Filter>>Stylize>>Solarize. Onced you have solarised the render, go to Filter>>Stylize>>Find Edges. Now that this is done set the layer to 'Multiply' and positioned it appropriatly. Should look something like this:

Now select the left and side of the tag and go to Edit>>Copy Merged. Duplicate the copied selection twics and resize them. make one slightly smaller than render and the other even smaller. Then position the biggest one down and to the left a bit and the smallest one futher down and to the left. Once they are positioned, grab the eraser tool with lower opacity and erase the edges of the copies. Should now look something like this:

Now for the pattern on the left hand side. grab the text tool and draw a selection onto the tag. Go to the font and select one that has designs/pictures. Finad one you like and type it up. I used the letter 'C'.

Now you have a pattern, got to blending options and use these settings:

Drop-Shadow

Bevel and Emboss

Stroke

Should now look like this:

Now add two blank layers. One one layer brush with a few white brushes over the tag and with the other layer do the same but with black brushes. Once you have finished brushing set both layers to overlay (can set layer to overlay forst then start brushing so You can see what it looks like). This will add few highlights, etc to the sig.

Now it will look like this:

Well now its up to you just add some text and a border and that is you done. Test that I used was simple, Arial font with a 1 pixel white stroke and fill opacity set to 0%.

Can also add a design beside the text by again using picture fonts... I found one of the a heart and added it.
