I was playing some with brushes and then suddenly I got something I never saw in a tutorial. I though well I'll make it my tutorial.
Ok, let's get it started.
First, start with a new file. Size doesn't matter, I choose 500x500 pixels. Make sure to check background color.
Fill the document with black.
Our background turned black now.
Now we are going to start brush. To see all your brushes click on the eraser tool.

Ok now scroll down and grab this brush.
Select it and set the opacity, the flow as shown on the image above.
Now click on the black background and you see there appears a white leaf on your black background. Using single clicks, keep adding some leaves. Try to avoid overlapping leaves.
This is what I got:
Now we are going to make them more transparent. Go to Filter > Stylize > Find Edges.
You will have something like this if everything went good.
Now we need to give a color to our leafs, in the next step we will do something so black will turn white and white in black, ( ex. orange in blue , . . . )
Press Ctrl + U to go to the Hue/Saturation window.
Apply these settings: Hue = 22 Saturation = 100
Make sure Colorize is checked!
After doing the Hue/Saturation, you should have something like this.
Now it's time to get our final result.
The only thing you have to do is to press Ctrl + I.
This is my final result:

You can also try a new color.
I made my final result green.

Well that's it. Enjoy.
