Website Banner

Step 1 - Create the Shape

Select the rounded rectangle tool and make a shape for you website banner:

Step 2 - Blending

Right click on this layer, and click Rasterize. Now right click again and select blending options. Now use the setting shown here for gradient overlay:

Step 3 - Copy and Move

Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer, then use the move tool to move it 1px down, and 1px to the right.

Step 4 - Delete the Extra

Select the rectangular marquee tool, select half of the duplicated layer and press delete.

Step 5 - Gradient Overlay

Right click on your duplicate layer, and go into blending options. Now add these settings under gradient overlay.

Step 6 - Write your Name

Now select a nice font, such as Chopin Script, and write the title of your website onto your banner.

Step 7 - Your Finished!

Your are now done with your banner. Here I added some light brushing at the bottom of the banner with a custom brush from Deviant Art, and then I used a reflection technique on the text. Enjoy!
