Fading Animation

Aright this is a pretty easy tutorial that will teach you how to create an effect like this.

1. Create a new document of any size ill be using 350 x 100 for this.

2. Now add a border i know most of you add your borders at the end but sometimes i forget so i do it right after i create the document. if you don't no how to add a border click background then hit ctrl + a then go to edit stroke 1 px black.

3. Now do your brushing or whatever you want to do to make it look like a graphic. but make sure you leave everything in its own layer. that means no merging layers if you do want to merge layers make sure you leave the part you want to fade in its own layer.

Here is what i have so far

4. Now your ready to animate click file > edit in image ready.

5. Once your file is in image ready click on the layer you want to animate for me this is hobo. then go to the animation window (if you don't see the animation window go to window > animation)

6. Here is a picture that will tell you where thing things you need are

7. Click duplicate current frame about 10 times (more if you want it to fade slower and less if you want it to fade faster)

8. Now change the opacity of the layer you want to fade to 0

9. Click tween set it to about 20 frames (if you want the animation to be faster use less frame is you want it slower add more) then hit ok

10. Now click duplicate frame 10 times again (if you want it to be gone longer click it more if you want it to be gone for a shorter period of time click duplicate less)

11. Now set the opacity back to 100% then click tween again set it to the same amount of frames you used last time then hit ok. hit the play button and see if you like it

12. Now hit file save optimized as images only .gif type and the file name you want and then save
