Start by creating a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. Press Ctrl+T. Rotate it 45°. Create an elliptical selection using elliptical marquee tool.

In this Tutorial, I will show you how to make an expanding animated image. Let's begin in Photoshop by creating a new file, 150 X 150 pixels on a transparent background. 1.) Select the Eliptical Marquee tool. (M) 2.) In the options bar, go to the Style pull down and select Fixed....
1. Start by creating a new page at any size. Mine is 350px by 150px.
