Text Flip Animation Effect

Start by typing "AIDS" with each alphabet in a different layer.

Duplicate A layer. Hide the original. Press Ctrl+T. Scale down horizontally.

Duplicate layer. Hide the previous one. Press Ctrl+T. Scale down horizontally.

Repeat the above step for one more duplicate layer.

Repeat the steps for rest of the alphabets.

Similarly type "HOPE" and repeat above steps.

Create a leaf 5 shape using custom shape tool.

Duplicate leaf layer several times, distort, rotate and place each instance as shown.

Open animation window. For the first frame keep the original AIDS layers visible. hide rest of the layers.

Duplicate frame. Unhide first leaf layer.

Duplicate frame. Unhide the 2nd leaf layer. Hide the previous one.

Duplicate frame and unhide the leaf layer that touches the A layer.

Duplicate frame and start unhiding the scale down A layers.

For the 7th frame start unhiding H layers in a reverse fashion. Starting with most scaled layer.

Repeat the steps for rest of the three alphabets. Also keep unhiding leaf layers moving towards the right edge.

For the last frame keep all AIDS layers should be hidden and all unscaled HOPE layers visible. No leaf layer should be visible at this frame.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
