Open photoshop. Select polygon tool as shown :

On the option bar, while the Polygon Tool is select, click on the option drop down arrow as shown. You will have more options for the select Polygon Tool. Check the star, type the value in Indent Sides By box and press enter.

Now, on the option bar type the value of the polygon sides. This is the basic of drawing or adding glitters to your image / text or any other graphic.

The image below is my experiment with different options. Play with the options until you get the desired effect :)
