Framed Photo (part 2)

Step 1.

Open your photo. Go to channels palette and create a new channel (Alfa 1). Choose Rectangular Marquee Tool and create a rectangle. Then apply Select > Inverse; and Edit > Fill...(use: White). Apply Select > Deselect. Then apply Filter > Distort > Glass with the following settings: Distortion-> 8, Smoothness->3.

Step 2.

Now apply Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple (with the following settings: Ripple Size->7, Ripple Magnitude->10) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 3.

Now apply Filter > Distort > Ripple (with the following settings: Amount->450%, Size-> Medium) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 4.

Now apply Filter > Distort > Twirl (with the following settings: Angle->999) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 5.

Now apply Filter > Distort > ZigZag (with the following settings: Amount->65%, Ridges->20, Style->Pond ripples) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 6.

Now apply Filter > Sketch > Water Paper (with the following settings: Fiber Length->34, Brightness->55, Contrast->77) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 7.

Now apply Filter > Stylize > Extrude (with the following settings: Type->Blocks, Size->30px, Depth->Random) and you will get a frame like this one:

Step 8.

Now apply Filter > Stylize > Tiles (with the following settings: Number of tiles->10, Max offset->10%, Fill empty area with->Background Color) and you will get a frame like this one:
