Hand Drawn Photos

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to turn a full quality photo into a hand drawn masterpiece in less then 5 minutes.

Ok, well we are going to start with just opening up the image in Photoshop.

Now we go Image > Adjustments > Desaturate (Shirt+Ctrl+U), this will turn your image into a black and white.

Then you will have to go to your layers pallet, right click on the images layer and click duplicate layer, then click ok.

Now on this new layer go again into Image > Adjustments > Invert (Ctrl+I), this will completely invert the black and white of your photo like shown below.

Once you have done that keep that layer selected and change the Blending Mode to Color Dodge.

Then finally go up to the Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 40.0 pixels.

So that's it and you've now got yourself a great quality drawing.
