Highlight Jennifer Love Hewitts Hair

1. Download this image of Jennifer Love Hewitt:

2. Zoom in so that you can brush over her hair easier. Create a new layer. Select a small white brush, and begin to fill in areas that will be highlighted:

3. Using the eraser tool, go back and make these areas sharper at the ends:

4. Your image should now look somewhat like this:

5. Set the layer blending mode to overlay:

6. Duplicate this layer (right click layer > Duplicate):

7. Set the blending mode on the new layer to normal:

8. Go into blending options, and set up a color overlay like this:

9. Click Apply, Create a new layer under the layer with the colored hair. Now Click the layer with the colored hair. Merge this layer down onto the empty layer to get rid of the blending option but keep the style. Now set this layer to Hue:

That's it! You can try all sorts of variations when setting the color in the color overlay!
