1. Let's begin with a new image. I chose an image that I recently shot on a vacation of mine. Many of the adjustments made may be slightly different than mine depending on the image that you will be using but for this particular image (the brightness and so forth) it worked fine.
2. My first step was to rid the colors in the image. Go to the main menu and choose "Image" then "Adjustments" and lastly "Desaturate".
3. Now we're going to give it a grainy effect. So go to the main menu once again and choose "Filter" then "Filter Gallery" and choose "Film Grain". Use the settings below and click "OK".
4. You should now have the following:
5. Now lets give it a bit of color. Go to the main menu and choose "Image" then "Adjustments" and lastly "Hue/Saturation". Use the below settings and click "OK".
6. Before doing anything else, go to the main menu and choose "Image" then "Fade Hue/Saturation". Use the below settings and click "OK".
