1. Open stock background stock

and 2 obj stocks

2. First step, select 3 obj and bring them out of their background, should set Feather = 2 px before u select

3. Send all obj to the background, zoom these to real size

4. You can see, around these obj have a blur light stroke, don't worry, that problem I'll solve soon .

Duplicate the background layer, select blending mode = Multiply to define the light source.

5. Now, we I'll work with the ball, lock all layer subtract ball layer.

Use Elliptical Marquee Tool to make selection with feather = 30 px, make new layer, use Dodge tool to make highlights

6. Select the ball selection again by hold Ctrl and clicking to the ball's layer thumbnail

Use Burn Tool ( range = midtone ) and Soft Brush opacity = 8% with large size to make shadows

Use Burn Tool ( range = highlight ) and Eraser ( hardness = 75% ) with small size to clear the white color around the ball

7. Hold Ctrl and click to ball's layer thumbnail, hit Ctrl + J, fill black color, hit Ctrl + T , right-click and select Distort to transform this shape to be a ball's shadow

Move the shadow layer to lie down ball layer

Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur with 8 px.

8. Make new layer and use Soft Brush with large size to add more shadow detail

Result !!

9. Continue with mouse obj.

Use Lasso Tool to select the selection front of the mouse , feather 10 px, make new layer, fill white color, opacity = 40%

10. Use Burn & Dodge Tool to make shadows and highlights

11. Now is the mouse's shadows on floor, mouse's head should be lighten than it tail

Done the mouse obj ..!! We Finished.
