Replacing Cars Lights

A cars back lights ca be quite boring so here is how to give them a transplant. first select the car to receive the lights

and select the an image with the lights you wish to use (i have cropped my image).

Draw a selection round the lights you wish to transplant onto your car

and then paste it into your document.

Now the these lights are the wrong shape and rotation so we just rotate them into place and reduce the opacity so that we can see the original lights behind.

Now select the eraser tool, use small soft brush and have opacity on fill one 35% are ad careful remove excess to shape your lights onto your car. You will want to zoom in quite close).

Repeate for the other side using this technique in yuo can replace the original lights with some more stylish ones.
If you wish to use different shape from the lights ordinal. Then you must use the smudge and blur tool to smooth the lights in to the body work, its all trail and error so i cant really help you any more than to blend slowly and keep zooming in and out to see what the effect looks like then zoom back in to make changes, and only make small changes.
