Need a nice golden glowing tan without the risk of skin cancer?
Follow this tutorial to make anyone look like they just got back from the beach.
Once you have your image, use the Pen Tool (P) to select the area of skin.
Don't worry if you miss some places, just get the general curves of the face.
Right-Click and make a selection with a Feather of 1 pixel with the path you just made.
Go up to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance and select these settings.
Your image should look like this:
In the layers palette, change the blending mode from Normal to Soft Light.
Click on the second box to the right of the Color Balance layer's icon in the layers palette.
Use a Soft Round brush (I used 13px) and change your foreground color to white. Brush the areas of skin that you missed. Like, I missed areas around her hairline.
You should almost have a finished image now but, of course, you don't want to tan your eyes. Do you?
Using the same brush but a black foreground color, brush her eyes.
Now, you should be done and have something like this:
